A quick look

LED count
132 to 750 reported LEDs. Omnilux Contour Face lists the fewest; CurrentBody Skin LED Face Mask Series 3 lists the most.
Wavelengths
Four of five include near-infrared (700 nm+). Four include blue light; three list 415 nm specifically.
Reported output
Three of five have a published irradiance, from 26.9 to 50 mW/cm². Measurement conditions differ, so figures are not directly comparable.
Session length
3 to 15 minutes per session, as reported. Most list about 10 minutes.

Numbers need context. LED count is not a measure of effectiveness. Brands may measure output in different ways. These numbers are not results from the same lab test.

Prices mix EU, UK and US references. Currencies are not converted; older prices are labeled and are not current offers.

How to use this information

We start with the nine models in LED Mask Specs and add CurrentBody Series 3. Manufacturer information takes precedence where a checked page supplies clearer or newer details.

This page compares reported specifications. It does not independently test devices, assess clinical effectiveness or recommend one mask over another. How to read each specification

We ask the same questions

Each device gets the same fields. We list brands alphabetically and do not give scores or prizes.

A missing number is not zero

“Not found on checked page” means a numeric value was not located in that source during this review. It does not establish that the brand never publishes it.

Output needs an explanation

Irradiance is power per unit area. Distance, mode, duty cycle and measurement method matter. Higher numbers alone do not establish better results. Dose estimates are calculations from reported output and time, not comparable independent measurements.

Keep the claim with its source

Regulatory claims and reference prices retain their source status. FDA clearance, CE marking and clinical evidence describe different things; none is treated as a performance score.

CurrentBody Skin LED Face Mask Series 3

Full specifications
Manufacturer source

A flexible mask with six wavelengths, four presets and app-customised treatments. Manufacturer pages checked 2 November 2026 list 750 LEDs and ten-minute sessions. The US comparison page reports up to 40 mW/cm²; this is a manufacturer claim, not our measurement. FDA record K260715 names MK-110D; equivalence to the exact Series 3 retail model is not confirmed.

Manufacturer product and comparison pages; FDA record, exact retail-model match unconfirmed.

Regulatory claim & provenance

Dr. Dennis Gross DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro

Full specifications
Manufacturer source

Manufacturer page checked 2 November 2026 lists 100 red and 60 blue lights, but also says up to 100 lights. It describes red, blue and combined modes with a three-minute automatic shut-off. Its comparison table additionally lists 605 and 880 nm in the FaceWare column; the exact spectral configuration is unresolved, so the wavelength array keeps only the shared red/blue values. K183247 is a possible family match, not a confirmed retail-model match.

Manufacturer page; conflicting count and wavelength fields retained explicitly.

Regulatory claim & provenance

FDA cleared, manufacturer claim. Claims are reproduced with their source status; this is not a regulatory certification by Nota Cutis.

Dr. Renú SpectraLift Advanced

Full specifications
Manufacturer source

The manufacturer lists 280 diodes, nine modes, 10–15-minute sessions 3–4 times weekly, a 2000 mAh battery and USB-C charging. Its device passport reports per-mode output. The brand features supportive dermatologist testimonials on its product page; these are brand-hosted opinions, not a clinical trial. Reference price checked 2 November 2026: €233 promotional, €389 regular. Follow the current manual.

Questions you might have

Does more light or a higher LED count mean a better mask?

The specifications alone cannot answer that. LED count does not establish uniform coverage or clinical outcomes. Comparisons also need measurement conditions, fit, treatment protocol and device-specific evidence.

Which LED face masks include near-infrared light?

Four of the five list a near-infrared wavelength (700 nm or above): CurrentBody Skin LED Face Mask Series 3, Dr. Renú SpectraLift Advanced, Omnilux Contour Face and Shark CryoGlow FW312. Dr. Dennis Gross DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro do not list one.

Which LED masks use 415 nm blue light?

CurrentBody Skin LED Face Mask Series 3, Dr. Dennis Gross DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro and Shark CryoGlow FW312 list 415 nm. Dr. Renú SpectraLift Advanced (465 nm) list a different blue wavelength.

How long is an LED mask session?

Reported sessions range from 3 minutes (Dr. Dennis Gross DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro) to 15 minutes (Dr. Renú SpectraLift Advanced, upper end of its range). Most of the five list about 10 minutes. Always follow the device’s own manual.

Why are some figures different from LED Mask Specs?

Source pages change. We use the current manufacturer breakdown of 160 lights for Dr. Dennis Gross, add published irradiance for Silk’n and Nanoleaf, and update Dr. Renú’s session guidance. Each change is described in the model’s source note.

What does CurrentBody Series 3 add?

The manufacturer lists 750 LEDs, six wavelengths, four presets and app-customised treatments. Its US comparison page lists up to 40 mW/cm². These are manufacturer figures, not our measurements; we do not substitute Series 2 output.

Are these recommendations or medical guidance?

No. This is a specification reference, not a treatment recommendation. Follow each device’s manual, including eye protection, contraindications and use limits. For suitability questions, consult a qualified clinician.
